nice sam thanks! good info... so, on a dry test, my engine has a comp of 9.2... admittedly i tested it while it was cold and hadn't been run in ages with only one cylinder open.

i didnt use the senders that came with the oil pressure and water temp gauges though and so the oil pressure reads inverted as in the lower it reads the higher and the temp gauge is about 30degress in advance, reads about 50degrees at cold and about 120 at operating temp >.<
anyone know a 'lenient' mechanic in queensland that will roadworthy this?
it will be ready to roll on wednesday (window guy coming out), so many days of work, really keen to get this on road but so little time to stuff around now, moved to brissy, started uni, need car! if anyone can help out/point in right direction, i would be very grateful!
