Thi thing was the inspiration to run my first 86 on carbs, good to see your still driving and motivated. Do you notice much of a difference from the extra comp of the 20v bottom end?
Honestly i dont think any of my 16v's have been any good for long enough to get a good idea. just a constant decay of power over time lol.
No one's ever been able to tune the carbs half decent, then shortly after 3 and 4 cyl's would compression. then it would sound like a WRX (fun rocking up to poser meets haha) and i would get cranky.
Carbs both had bent throttle shafts, one was able to be straightened but the other was ridiculous (the one running 3 and 4)
What was basically happening is 3 and 4 were just doing ALL the work, until they gave up, then 1 and 2 would take over lol.
It sure does feel alot more torqey than it ever has been, like i can actually pick up speed at only 3000~ revs in 4th or 5th up decent hills!
Will see how it goes on the track methinks
Again though, i wish i had a reliable setup before so i could of laid down some times to compare to
will have to have a drive again like we used to man, although there are no sunday night meets anymore
we should get the runs going again!

maybe do them black since you still street drive it to make it look a bit higher? would prefer to see the sills match the body though
