The comments i get from mang's are like "oh mang.... these are cool, but the tri's were rad!"

The comments i get from non-mangs are like "ohhhh sooo shinnnny jdm brahhh me mate trev had some of themz and they bent when he hit the gutter at 160 in 2nd"

I never used to get comments from non-mangs, just strange stares hahaha, so i'm still unsure about them.

But srsly. after japan, i'm either widening my set of WORK SPIRIT-33's, or buying 6 brand new wata's lol. One set's gonna have to go!

Good to hear of the lack of fuel/carb problems.

I liked the tris for the record

Pic of metal on metal from last track day / running same pads for yearrrrrs

    Bush mechanic extraordinaire

    Almost there!

A rather disappointing moment occurred when my MK2 wouldn't even locate on the studs without fouling...
20mm is the minimum i need to clear by a half a bee's dick!
It's not actually a spoke clearance issue.
It's the stepped section of the barrel that narrows the diameter very quickly to accommodate the small centre piece.

    185/55 and i might have a chance?

To make it worse... Weds fit straight on no wukkas!

    For anyone searching google:

    T3 Wilwood 280mm / 11inch AE86 Big brake kit

    14 x 8.5 -7 SSR MK2 (B DISC) fits with 20mm spacer

    14 x 8 -15 Weds Trispoke (1 piece) fits with NO SPACERS

fuck. did some more measuring. Need 25mm to clear my studs because the backface of the MK2 is completely flat...

or just commit to spacerlife and cut 5mm off every stud LOL
