If a parmy is up there as the best thing you've ever eaten, you need to step out of the pub and try eating some real food sometime...
Parmas are delicious, don't get on your high horse, taste is opinion baaasssseeeddddd! No need to be snobby about it and diss a Parma just because it's not 'gourmet' food.
I don't like avocado or mashed potato, I love every other form of potato based food however.
Haha nah it's just a solid meal that's impossible to make taste crappy. veal scallopini is delicious also.

I used to work in a gourmet restaurant and once we made an awesome parma with Calabrese salami, this ridiculously good prosciutto, San Marzano tomato topping and Cravero Parmesan on top, all freshly sliced by us... 'twas a grand dinner!
No one ever said a Parma is gourmet, merely a good, cheap and filling meal. Can everyone afford to eat at a gourmet restaurant every night? Can everyone be a gourmet chef themselves? No.
