On par with sidchrome?
Whats the go with the Repco brand? got a really cheap quote from an owner I know for rachet spanners, he says they're on par with Sidchrome...
Anyone got any info?
On par with sidchrome?
Yeah, they'd go close, and the added bonus of lifetime warranty mean you can walk into any Repco store and get them replaced without a receipt cause they've got Repco stamped in them...

Sick of paying too much for high performance brake pads? Want high performance and cold bite with low rotor wear?

Sick. I'll pick em up then. $150 for a 7pc set.
Repco tools are generally good. If you're building a kit then they're a good starter brand.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
I have owned a set of repco sockets(3/8-1/4 drive) since 98 and never broke one or had any problems with them, as good as anything on the market IMO. It is not like you need strap-on tools to work on your hachi in the back yard.
Looking at buying a full kit, works out cheaper
I'm looking the 208 piece kit.
repco are great!!
sidchrome have gone down hill since they started making them overseas. Kingchrome are awesome and so are SnapOn but u need some serious cash.
so yea, as for repco i bought a standard socket set and have been using them on a rattle gun ( havent got around to getting impact sockets), and they are still going strong after a year of abuse!!

yeah repco are good for the home mechanics out there.
they can take a beating with a sledge hammer for quite a wile. so if ya bust them just take it back to any store and kazzam a shinny new one.
Kincrome is expensive? i always thought it was cheap entry-level stuff. I'm looking at getting some repco stuff for home, my good tools have less chance of getting stolen at work anyway. I've used old sidchrome stuff and i've used new, and the old stuff shits on the new. One of the senior techs at work has had the same sidchrome kit for 40 years and swears by it. So unless your dad or relative has an original set I wouldn't bother.
