i c i c, good to see its being put to good use!
Yeh kooms chris has supplied a fair bit of gear for this car, (hopefully he still had a panhard rod for me), he is a legend!
Hopefully a video from the weekend will come up with the Carbs roaring hj, if not I could arrange one for you.
I'll throw together an update in about 10 mins...

Ok so where do I start..
The week leading up to drift matsuri at winton saw me in the shed from when I finished work til about 10-10:30 every night. My list of jobs was:
Mount seat
Get gauges working
Lip rear guards
Fire extinguisher
Get some tyres fitted to the 'sharks
Throttle stopper
Front brake pads
And when my sandwich plate that was meant to arrive Wednesday didn't turn up til Friday arvo at 5, it really came down to the wire haha.
Also I originally planned to bolt the seat to the rails I threw together, but it had to be welded also which was a pain in the ass.
Some pics from the past week:
Defi copies, Can't afford the real deal haha
Seat rails (kept the forward/backward movement but made the seat pretty damn high haha
And mounted:
Me and gavs pit, got there way too late for anything better
And back home

All in all had a top weekend. Car was sliding 3rd on most of the track, and I had the spins to a minimum by the end of the weekend. Plenty of support out there too which helped a lot! New steering/suspension setup is crazy good, it all ties in well with each other. Might go coily's soon though. The power was not too bad, an exhaust would be good as the current one is fairly restrictive... And quiet! Gav also pointed out my oil lines are rated to 50psi LOL! So I risked it all weekend and they will get the arse. She was also surging quite a bit when i hit about 1/4 tank, can anyone recommend a good surge tank?
A few things I'd like before march track day:
Front strutty
panhard rod
Thermos (definite)
Exhaust
Oil lines
More rear lowness
And then there's other stuff like t-series, cage and more power. I love the carbs and I wanna keep them and work them, but if a gze comes up at the right price I'd also consider it.
Skid pics and vids when I find them!
Cheers will.

Hey mate where abouts do you get your carbs tuned ????
Do they stuff around with your cam gears and timing ???? or just tune carbs ???
Do you know how much its making at the wheels ???
Sorry for the hundred questions but tuff rig and also i run carbs so interested where you have taken it to get it tuned.
cursing i didnt go to winton to see it in action
Well I've found a carby guy I'm gonna stick with, try and form a partnership etc. But I've only been to him once so far to get the car running properly for driftmatsuri, so he didn't play around too much. I'm planning some head work though and when I take it back hopefully he will be able to have a play with the cam gears as well, or else I'll just trawl through the web to find some basic settings and go from there.
The business is called Thornbury Carbs. They are located on high st in Thornbury. The guy seems pretty switched on, but you have to book your car in. Expect to pay though haha. Don't think there is any 'cheap' carby joints around anymore.
No idea on a power figure yet either, don't think it would be terribly high though lol. If I get a chance I'll throw it on, wouldn't mind a base power figure so I can keep track of gains etc.
Cheers
