The kit bolts up to a big port head and was designed specifically for the AE86.
The supercharger was made by Ogura and is about 1200cc capacity, somewhat bigger than the ZE charger. (There's no clutch.
There was an HKS computer module that adjusted the standard ae86 ecu settings, but I have never run that, just the Motec M4.
Although the kit was designed to use the standard size NA crank pulley and standard compression pistions, I got the low compressed ZE pistons, used a thicker gasket and the ZE crank pulley. This enables me to run a lot more boost than standard.
The motor generated plenty of heat with that setup.
There's no intercooler, so the charged air seems to get pretty hot at high revs. It'll take a bit of working out, but water injection to the intercooler is a possibility.
It took yonks to find all the parts: I have a spare SC and 2 spare intake manifolds which I needed to by just to get the missing bit between the SC and throttle body...
It makes boost very low down in the rev range and screams it's bits off. Sounds great with the cams too.
Dunno what power it makes, but will find out when I get it running again soon.

Haha nice. I fitted one of these kits to a guys KE70 a while back. Well, fitted what was left of the kit anyway. Had to make a lot of brackets, pulleys and tensioners to get it all working. In the end it did work quite well though. Would love to see some pics if you have the full hks setup if you have that.
