It'll be a clutch LSD, so I'm not sure that shimming is possible. Maybe add another clutch disc/pack/whatever?

Edit: ^ Won't be doing any work ATM lol. Finally doing struts this weekend. Would be nice with slightly stiffer rear springs, and ideally needs new LCA ball-joints, tie-rod ends, castor rod bushes, sway-bar D-bushes and rear swing-arm bushes...

Haven't even looked into diff TBH, 2-way you posted somewhat expensive? Would prefer 1.5 way also.
Might do next motorkhana just cause, needs a steering wheel too. Bus wheel ain't no fun to be throwing around.

Gotta remember they're MEGA ULTRA RARE and discontinued for at least 15yrs, I've been trolling YAJ daily for the last couple years and I've only seen two. 35k does seem a bit steep for a 20yo 2-way with busted side bearings though.
