Sound Deadner? Legal?

just wondering if a car would pass a rwc if it has sound deadner removed?

i highly doubt it, it's pretty easy to tell that's it's been removed, unless you get one of the nice rwc guys

If you got carpet in they won't know. I thought it was legal to take it out?

yeah i know a pretty dodgy guy lol, got a rwc with no horn, no spare tyre, 14x8 wheels etc.. but still, wanted to double check as i have never owned a car with no sound deadner

its legal you are not removing any form of "fire wall" or structure no problems with it i got non and have been pulled by cops for no back seets ( mod plated ) i got no carpet and they say nothing.

i saw engineer about getting my conversion and seating capacity done, i have no rear seats no carpet anywhere and the car has all deadner removed, i asked him if he would engineer it as 2 seater and hes said to me "what are you planning to do in the back floor"

i said "nothing, is that ok"

he said it was fine so i dont see why they would pin you for it
