Well we had a good day. Sorted out suspension woe's out! I'm sure Luke's going to write up something on what we didhaha so here's a few pictures of what we got upto this weekend.
Strut bender

After a few months of having 2 passanger side 86 struts... i realised the day before driving 3 hours to Lukes... that I had 2 of the same struts... so drove all around sydney to picked up a few sets of 86 struts, ended up cutting down a set of struts at lukes to bend this morning.... New sleevekit and a shitload of parts are on their way for my front end!! Car will finally be complete in the front end department!
just removing the dodgy sleeve kit.
just played around with suspension today....
consists of:
Cusco tops, cusco top perch, 8kg springs, wholesale bottom perch machined to fit springs, sleeve kit cut in half... 86 super short struts, 86 hubs, fc calipers, civic discs
undecided on shocks atm.... running TRD blues.
anyway sussssspension should be sorted in the next couple days.

Just waiting on AJPS package to arrive to bolt front end together. Firewalls booked in, in 2 weeks for Firewall, tunnel, rear tunnel, box cut into the rear floor for diff to sit into..

The car's not running... the car's currently at my mates workshop getting a firewall and tunnel put into it. I can't wait... it's going to take a few weeks but i got plenty time to wait.

So....
SSR mesh all round, or SSR mesh and SSR mk1's on rear? What should I do? Leaning towards SSR Mesh all round with white centres and polished lips.
I decided to go with MESHIES ALL AROUND....
but for engineering, I will run steel 14x5.5" chasers...
Hopefully running soon... Tailshaft is getting made, once the firewall and tunnels done i'll get all the brake lines sorted, hook up my wilwood pedal box... start bolting it together.
For the rear end, All i'm going to do is run the flattened and stiffened Leaf springs, run an adjustable panhard rod and that's all. Will see how bad the tramp is.... if its terrible i'll go triagulated 4 link yo!

i like the Mk2's on the rear and mesh up front.
let us know if you have any vibration issues with the 1 piece tail shaft... heard of a few guys having this issue.

picked up another pair of meshies... 14x7.5...... $200 with decent 185/55's! cheering. Get them sandblasted, polish DEM KRAZI LIPZ then paint the centres silver and i'm done with wheels for a while! I bought a pair of Wattanabe's 15x7 0 offset :')
