Ive made a few of these now. Doesnt seem to be an issue

Part numbers for hydraulic unit. Adapter is separate

    cylinder is 4776308
    bearing is 8721995

You usually buy the units with bearing, cylinder and dust seal. Local SAAB dealers should stock them, or try wreckers. They are off a SAAB 900 turbo I think. Check that with the SAAB dealer though

Hi Celica RA45, I havent done much more work on the W series adaptor because the Howe unit will work basically out of the box, and I havent got arount to fitting any W series boxes yet. All I would do for piece of mind is have a small sleeve machined to hold the hydraulic unit perfectly concentric. (the small sleeve isn't really needed though). The Howe hydraulic units are available through ebay or just google them. A lot of the Americans use a quartermaster equivalent which I havent had a good look at yet.

just a suggestion the clutch slave cylinder from a 2003 lancer fits in through the hole as if it were a clutch fork maby this could help you design a working prototype

Hello, I'm a newbie here, it's my first post. I'm helping a guy fit the Mondeo slave to his 4AGE/T-50 setup. Making an adaptor. I Googled to see what other folks have done, and found this great site. I'll post some pix as the project evolves. Thanks, Carter Shore (Beverly Hills, FL USA)

I have a W series box with AZ customs adapter to JDM T-50 Bellhousing and a Howe unit.
I had to space and shim it quite a distance to set it up.
I am planning on installing motor and box into KE70 in the next couple of weeks for trial run.
All looks to be in order.

Has anyone else got any experience with this kind of set up.
