And xero, I have a 4.7 final gear and 5th gear @ 110km is just below 4000rpm with a standard box and 205/50r15 tyres.
dunno where you're getting 5000+ from?

I know mine has a 4.1 and sits at 3,600rpm at 110km/h. With a t50 and 195/50/15. So I can see that a 4.7 is going to crank it a fair bit higher.

4.777 / 4.111 = 1.1622 (yes you can do this as its the ONLY variable changing)

3600 * 1.1622 = 4183.78rpm @110km/hr

Which is pretty much smack on with me. with 185/60/14 (pretty much same overall rolling diam. as 195/50/15) and standard t50.

My zorst is actually really droney below 3500, so my car actually got MORE bearable with 4.77's than with 3.9/4.3!!LOL

to give you guys more accurate. 860 ratio drops about 500 revs every 3500 so at 7000 it is 1000 revs if final 5th is. 880 its about 350 revs or 700 over all so .737 will be about 600 to 700 revs and about double this at 7000rpm

ok just checking my speed calcs with tyre ratio dia of 584mm and with 4.77 ratio .860 over drive is 3750 rpm
.886 trd ratio 3950rpm and .737 is 3200 rpm
this is at 100 kays per hour or 63mph

Where do you guys get your 4.77 gears and how much are they? Our only source is about $289 USD.

Weir?? Same place im getting diff parts frm...about to put a weir 4.3, solid pinion spacer and weir spool in a t series to go into my ke70...

Albins here in Oz will make any ratio you want for 5th, they would have no trouble making a custom ratio like you guys are looking for. They will make a full custom gearsets for a T50 in any ratio's you want except 4th which has to be 1:1. They are very flexible on making custom ratio's and can do the same as a TRD gearset etc.

From memory they will charge $350 per ratio so the same price as the gears your after, they will discount the price if several of the same ratio are made.
