Default ke70 with 4age, ae86 coiloers, recaro, mod plates

Well it is time to sell my beloved ke70. location is Brisbane 4178.

currently it needs a bit of work to get it up to scratch (bit of a tidy up), will be done before passing on to next owner.

but it will be sold with the following:

please no time wasters or dreamers.

    1983 ke70, originally a slant front.

done about 50,000 since ive had it (5yrs), about 300,000km's on the chassis, but everything has been replaced.

mod plates for bucket seat and 4age.

sold unregistered with no RWC (i don't have time to organise this)

    parts:

    engine/drive line

16V 4age (i think its a jdm one, can't comfirm) put in the beginning of last year (maybe 15,000 km ago), unknown k's on engine.

-RWD wiring loom + jdm ecu (orange label)
-genuine RWD inake and exhaust manifold + secondaries
-2.25" exhaust, 2 high flow mufflers, high flow cat
-cheap pod filter, "drift" i think.
    -new water pump (3000km ago)
    -new thermostat (3000km ago)
-new timing belt and tensioner (5000 ago)
-overhauled head (valve grind) + new headgasket (15,000km ago)
    -ae71 radiator
-12" thermo fan on a switch
-ae71 T50, apparently less than 200,000km's on it when i got it, shifts nicely. 2nd gear a bit notchy from 3rd->2nd. i double clutch and its fine. a tad winey in 5th.
-excedy heavy duty clutch (brand new 15,000kms)
-genuine ae71 pedal box (new master and slave 15,000kms)
-standard open ke70 differential (ae71 tailshaft), changed the axel bearings not long ago, diff is silent all the time.
-engine/gearbox, oil changed with penrite oil

    Fuel system:

-In tank lift pump (out of a commodore VL,brand new pump), custom fit into tank. (as per wiki article on here)
    -600ml surge tank
    -Bosch 911 fuel pump (130L/hr)
-high pressure rubber fuel line used everywhere.

all mounted under the car, no fuel smell at all from the car. fuel system is silent at all times.

-fuel pressure gauge mounted in engine bay (speco brand i think, autobahn $40)

    suspension

    front:

-strut brace (unknown brand, jap alloy)
-coilovers (shortened to 336mm, suit ae92/sw20rear shocks)
-kyb excel G shocks (3000kms old) sw20mr2 rears.
    -6kg/mm springs (custom order)
-s13 camber plates (holes drilled to suit)
-new castor rod bushes (blue, superpro?)
-set to -1 camber, +3.5 castor, 0 toe (about 4months ago)
    -ae86 non-power steering arms

    rear:

-cut standard springs (maybe 3kg/mm), feel pretty good.
    -kyb excel-G 343113 shocks (commondore, 20,000kms old)
    -whiteline adjustable panhard rod
    -upgraded bushes in trailing arms

    brakes

master cylinder over hauled around 30,000 ago (stainless steel insert, new seals etc)

front (all less than 3000kms old):

-overhauled jdm calipers (2022) with QFX pads (stainless steel insert, new seals etc)
-new RDA slotted jdm rotors (234x18mm, vented)
    -new front wheel bearings
    -new front rubber brake lines

    rear:

-standard open diff (replacement, not original to this car)
-overhauled rear wheel cylinders,30,000kms ago (stainless steel insert, new seals etc)
-new rear shoes maybe 10,000 ago
    -handbrake works pretty good

    exterior:

-backyard spray job a few yrs back, not perfect at all. but looks good from a distance.
-T18 bumpers (front is awesome, rear a tad rusty)
-corona quad lights cut to suit (massive light, all 4 come on with high beam, only outside for low beam)
-rolled guards, fronts are slightly "pumped", bit of damage to the paint.
-antenna removed (pretty dodgily, can see the mark where it was removed)
-corona passenger side mirror (fits pretty good)

    interior

-recaro bucket seat (home made seat rail, but mod plated), has a rip down the drivers side, could do with a small repair, still comfy as though.
    -Tacho dash cluster
-VDO temp guage (custom put into dash)
-pioneer CD player + 6" speakers
    -ae82 twinky wheel
    -central locking
    -alarm system (decent one, reliable)
-horn works (have a horn out of a falcon, its uber loud)

    rolling things

-set 15x7 +13 SSR wheels (one pair is forumlar mesh, other pair is reverse) pretty much look the same.
    -rear tyres 195/50/r15, sumitomo, 70%
    -front tyres federal 195/50/r15, 595 rs-r (80%), AWESOME tyre.
    -S13 spacesaver spare

    bad things:

-front main seal is a bit leaky, doesnt drop oil, but it accumulates around the oil pump.
-bit of rust in the boot around the seal (like every ke70) has been painted so wont go much further for the time being.
-few small dings around the car, nothing major.
-paint on the bonnet is crap, stuffed that up when we were painting it. could do with a respray, i have some spare paint i think, will come with car.
-one of the rear wheels has a slight buckle, hasn't bothered me over the last 3 yrs, cheap to get it repaid (i was quoted around $120)

    price: $5,500 ono

NO SWAPS OR TRADES, cold hard cash only.

I wont be letting you test drive it, until you put down a deposit. happy to take you for a drive in it.

This car starts every time, and the engine drives well. there is no idle up on the engine, so when its cold you need to baby it a bit.

The suspension is quite suited to the car, not to stiff for crummy roads, but it really does handle very well. It goes well on the highway, just cruises along fine. it is very reliable car over all.

to take it to the next level some better shocks would be required and an LSD, i was looking at bilsteins, but couldnt justify the price, given how well it goes now.

to turn it into bit more of a drifter, add a locker and a lower gear ratio, some ae86 power steering arms and you are good to go.

exhaust is very quiet, untill you give it some stick.

contact via PM here, and then we will go from there.

here is a photo of it, i will get some updated photos on the weekend.

here is also the build thread with alot of photos.

    sure.

$5500, comes with a free car!

if there is no interest in the next few weeks i will consider parting it out, just need to work out the logistics of such a venture.
