    hey guys i'm Dario, figured id finally post my ride up... nothing special but she's getting there slowly slowly

    had her since 05. was stock when i got it, it now has:

    ENGINE
    -4-AGE 16V Bigport all genuine RWD AE86 setup (motor, intake, cooling, loom, alternator) apart from AE82 ECU
    -New standard size Radiator
    -2" mild steel over diff exhaust with resonator and twin outlet muffler with 2.25" extended tips
    -3A Racing Air Filter

    SUSPENSION/DRIVETRAIN/BRAKES
    -KYB short stroke excel G shocks (mr2 fronts and commo wagon rears)
    -Falcon Springs all round made to fit
    -Cusco Camber tops
    -AJPS 40mm RCA
    -Super Pro Urethane Trailing arm, Caster arm, Rack and LCA Bushings
    -XT130 LCA's with new Ball Joints
    -JDM AE86 PS arms
    -AJPS Lock spacer
    -New Rack ends, Tie rods and Boots
    -Whiteline front strut brace
    -Whiteline Panhard rod
    -Whiteline 18mm rear swaybar
    -New Clutch Master and Slave
    -T-Series s1 diff freshly rebuilt with 4.3 CW&P + Solid Ring Spacer
    -TRD 2way LSD
    -Slotted and Vented front rotors with JDM calipers + all rubber brake and clutch lines replaced with braided

    INTERIOR
    -Monza bucket seat on modified standard seat rails
    -Nardi wheel with detachable boss
    -TRD gear knob

    AESTHETICS
    -JDM Levin letterbox grille
    -JDM Trueno Kouki Redline taillights
    -TRD copy front lip
    -Black Bumpers and Side Moulds
    -Flared front Guards

    SHOES
    -RIMS (front) Longchamp 15x7 +11 (rear) 15x8 -10 Watanabe
    -Bridgestone Adrenalin RE001
    -25mm bolt on spacers for the front


    CURRENT PLANS:
    atm just looking to rebuild another 4AGE 16v out of the car... still havent fully decided what the rebuilds going to entail, still reading and learning a lot.. but it will for sure have a smallport bottom end with a bigport head, ITB's, Cams and a standalone ecu... more than likely aftermarket pistons also, just ironing out all the finer details at this point... anyone who feels they can help me in this regard whether it be information or even just pointing me in the right direction with parts/builders or what not, would be much appreciated... looking to build something around 180-200hp give or take...

    now for the pics! the pics will be in order of when i got the mods...


    When i first got the car it looked like this





    got myself some meshies and had some of the suspension in at this stage





    got myself a letter box grille, redlines and bucket seat






    got a new set of Longchamps 15x7 +11 and tyres






    Cusco camber tops, AJPS RCA's, watanabe's 15x8 -10 also sprayed the bumpers black and fitted TRD copy lip









    all my cosmetics fitted, how she sits today..







    Trailored up for winton skids





    did my old motor at winton, had this replacement waiting... just cleaning it up and a few freshened up bits for install. you can see otaku busting a sweat he helped me heaps with this, big props to him again!










    4.3's TRD 2way and my t-series which i got freshly rebuilt. JDM calipers, with slotted/vented rotors + braided lines








    one day hopefully soon actually




    how the engine bay is today, minus the turbo resting in there... that was for shits and giggles

    been a while since ive posted an update... so here it is. im not big on writing so here's pictures to compensate
    got a pair of average guards that i wanted to flare. also wanted a bit of practice with panel beating and painting. this is the progress so far.
    i ended up buying a compressor and a few other bits aswell

































    my guard rolling tool i didnt have a pole lol

    Brake setup fitted.. probably shouldve painted the calipers..

    how do you find your compressor goes with the air sander... i found my 2.2hp one struggles with a sander, could be my sander is el cheapo

    Thanks guys!! nice to hear, especially when 6+ years of ups and downs have been put into it

    ps. the house in the welding photos isnt mine. friends house lol


    mine is a 2.5hp compressor and its not too bad. the compressor is a supercheap auto special. i only bought it because it was an ex demo so it was $114, couldn't resist as for the air sander mine is also an el cheapo from masters but it definitely hogs a lot of air... i can use it constantly but the pressure does drop off gradually. i like to take small breaks here and there to let the compressor build up a bit more air pressure so the sander has a bit more grunt, especially when sanding stubborn bits. but generally speaking its enough to get the job done, for what i paid i expected worse to be honest. Depending on how these guards turn out i may even do the rest of the car which would really put it to the test.

    Quick update! bought these bad boys from japan, hope to see them in a couple of months
    guards are also finished and on the car, going to give it a nice clean soon and will take a few happy snaps and upload
