yea mate took it from up there, pretty cool views.
totally agree singa is a mad place. from what i experienced it is so clean and efficient. The trains blew me out, compared to sydney it was bullshit accurate and awesome.
think thats a 360 challenge stradale not the 430, and i've heard a top end company like mercedes is releasing a model with matte paint. judging by the one you saw, it's pretty effective. looks like you had a mad time dan. In my opinion if you're under 30 the best way you can spend your savings is on travel.
V-tec is that bottom photo taken from up top of the merlion itself???
yea mate took it from up there, pretty cool views.
i love the china junk special jacks holding up a $250K 996 Turbo, win
Been there a few years ago, seriously it would take a week to see everything, it's a tiny country with not much to do other than shop or go to Sentosa.
Anyone who owns a car in Singa has to be mega rich. Eg. A new 1.6L Corolla costs AU$59000 + Registration fee + Road Tax + Certificate of Entitlement + additional registration fee (110% of Market value) + customs duty (31% of Market value) and after all that the car is only kept for 10 years before being scrapped/exported. It's no wonder nearly everyone takes public transport, but thankfully it's one of the most efficient systems I've ever seen.
Don't forget the peek hour tax or night time tax what ever it is lol
My brother in law lives over there its a joke the taxs he pays but would be cool to live there but not pay rent
They come to Malaysia and get fined... guess that's part of their "trip expenses"..![]()
Hmm, I remember my days in Singapore on business. It is a really nice place as stated, very clean too. Kinda funny though when you see all this and then a bunch of Indians bundled into the back of a light truck with nothing stopping them falling out. It's a bit of a what the...
One of my business associates over there had a Lexus 4x4 and I gave him so much shit about how he has a glorified Toyota. When I found out how much they get taxed for cars I found out why he took it a little more offensively than I thought he would, lol. Poor bastards, but I guess it's why Singapore is known for being one of the more elitist countries in the region.
Think in my week there, must have seen more Ferrari's in person that I had in my entire life, motor show attendance included. Would just walk out the front of my hotel and BAM, two would drive past or something. I hear old cars there are very expensive too to keep on the road... they up the rego over a certain age or something, probably similar to Japan.
Think the only thing I didn't like about Singapore was the humidity. Can stand heat, but god damn it was humid there. I can't even stand it here sometimes, in Brisbane, so I practically die in a lot of Asian countries. Beautiful, beautiful place though.
Sepang F1 Track la.... Singapore favourite destination in Malaysia, everyday you go, you see a Singapore person.... and mostly they use Subaru
Of course, but Sepang is 300km away..Can u resist not to floor it?
i was thinking exactly the same thing, good old kmart gear.
