    jus get one from da Ford Telstar back seat. u dont even need to get out the spring fits in perfect. Direct bolt on fit.

    The whole point of doing this conversion is so that you can remove the spring. The flared end allows the driver to pull the button forward and engage the handbrake but it wont lock if you just pull the handbrake up.
    Run what ya brung...............and make damn sure ya brung enough!!!!

    Although TRD-86's idea is cheap and great but why when a nice shinny one is only $15-30.

    are the sprinta hand breaks the same as the ones in a ae71?
    i.e. will a drift button for a ae86 work in it??

    yes same. using an 86 rear seat release pin and a DRFT button on my KE.

    yea i agree with the guys who said that why bother when u can get one for 15-30 thats shiny...... great idea though
