In the panel shop i wosto working in, removing sound deadening is easy if you heat it up with the oxy and then scrap it. Make Sure TO REMOVE THE FUEL TANK

Are any of you guys planning on re-carpeting your car? When I get my hatchi i'm gonna look at keeping everything and just re-carpeting to make it look nice rather than the race look like Josh's. And If I end up doing a gze bottom end with 20v head and turbo..weight shouldn't bother me ,

(Brett typing) Yeah l used the heat gun and scrapper too, too one night and a little of the next morning.

You can speed the process up bu putting kero or petrol in a spray bottle and giving it a spray every know and then a couple of times a day a few weeks in advance, helps disolve and loosen it, just be sure to let the petrol evaporate well entruly before using the heat gun.

Some one said that they did theres and it came close to 37kgs, l would almost vouch for that, l did the entire car and it weighed 29kg mesured using bathroom scales

anyway came out pretty well, quick sand and paint and heyhey baby
