how tight are your battery terminals? I also have a marine battery in my car since one day at work the old battery was dead, and because its a boat shop and we had no smaller batteries in stock i threw a big one in. Can strip my car down for days while still having the cd player blasting

I have a 580cca battery in mine. From memory it only charges up to 490cca as that is all the altnator can do.

i get them at trade for about $60.. if you go to supercheap etc and see a big bosch battery N53b (just an example) write down that number/modle, and i can see what i can do to get the equivilant battery at 1/4 the price still has a 2 year warrenty etc

back to the main topic, i think that if you like me, and you run your 4AGE with 30deg adv timing, and use BP ultimate fuel, and the motor hardley ever sees under 6000rpm i personally think there a good idea, upgrade your coil to people!! doesn't really matter what type, as long as it is an ELECTRONIC IGNITION COIL, the ignighter is a self learning type so i've heard !

Ive been thinking of changing mine, dont know why, just get a funny feeling its due for a change.

what coil have you used, any suggestions otherwise.

I would hate to hurt the Ignitor or anything else if i didnt do it properly.

I just double checked. Im acutally running a BCPR6EIX-11 but BCPR5EIX-11. So im running a colder plug. I wonder if this is why my plugs have been fouling up
