When you flood the engine usuall the spark plugs will get too much fuel on the electrodes and not fire. just pull the plugs out and wait for the fuel to evaporate, you could even warm up the plugs using a hair dryer

well maybe i should explain more clearly..sorry bout that..what happened was..i was bleeding the clutch..when i finished i tried to start the engine..'clickclicked' abit then dead..and the charge battery light came on..and then tried few times again absolutely no clicking..and headlights are dim..so i suppose batteries are weak..during the few attempts..i kept pressing the gas pedal even there is no cranking..so im just afraid that the engine will be flooded..ill try jumping/charging tmr..but yeah even if the batterys are weak,it still should give some clicking sound i supose?but im not sure..

AS long as there is a little charge in the battery as blood child said, just roll start it.

and how do i do that?...correct me if im wrong coz i havent done it b4..1st gear depress clutch,some1 push, crank+release clutch little bit+gas?...tried but then again cant hear the clicking sound from the starter...

i left the door open hence interior lights was on(forgot to turn it off) for about 45 mins when i was bleeding so probably drained my bat alittle..but yesterday it was still fine..dont think 45 mins of interior light being on would drain alot of bat...

    1. Just turn the key to ignition position
    2. push clutch in select 3rd gear
    3. get people to push car
    4. get to 5 to 10 kph let clutch out
    5. when engine seems to fire push clutch in and rev engine
    6. give lift to pushers the may be tired if they had to push for a long time!
    7. take car for drive & dont stall engine, (its ok if pushers still in car)

    Thats it

lol thx man ..i was doing it wrong then..but maybe my failed attempts would have flooded the engine?..

so when i push i dont have to crank at all?..just leave it at the ignition position?

5 to 10 kph might need a few pushers..we were doing it with 1 pusher lol

    I guess if your unlucky

No crancking required just ignition on run position

He will get tired too quick unless your on a hill

you need a bit of speed to keep the engine turning for a little while
