i'm in the process of putting my heater back in and i was wondering if sprinters use the cable opperated t-piece in the engine bay to direct the water into the heater core?

can i run my heater without this, or will it blow hot air all the time? i'm assuming i can use a t-piece off a celica or something...

also has someone got the copper core they wanna get rid of, needs to have all of the tubes still on it.

    Yes, they run a t-peice..

can't help you with the rest.. my core corroded out and leaked.. so i just bypassed it.. the lack of sound dedoning and thin carpet warm up the front of the car and where the exhaust runs anyway

can someone take some pics or let me know where to run the pipes from the back of the engine to the T Piece and heater core.
Does the T-Piece block flow when its closed?
Little confused about how to do the piping and dont want to block of coolant runing around the engine!
