theres so many gearboxes and suspenion setup out there!!
i was just wondering what gearboxes some of you use, for what purpose and what you think works the best? also what is the strongest and reliable gearbox that can handle abit of a thrashing?
alsoo whats some good suspension setups?? seeming that i dont know anything about suspension !

R154 Gearbox would be your best bet, good for any type of driving, unbreakable
And a good set of kingspring Super lows and monroe GT shocks should do the trick

for shocks for the mainstream just get like trd shocks with maybe an ajps, ocs spring. for box if you're just going to drive it normally and it's a stock 4age or less a t50 would be fine
when buying springs what do all the ratings mean..like From 3.2kg/mm – 10kg/mm..and everything else?

3.2 is soft. 10 is hard.

it represents how many kg the spring can hold per milimetre. thats why some of the springs are really long, so they can support a lot of weight. depending on the weight of ur car and urself u may need longer springs and some times they get too long for the strut so u will need longer struts.
it may get to a point where the conventional strut is too long to be useful as you are carrying alot of weight. at this point you will have to consider changing to a coilover or even a leaf spring front, as this may get the desired ride height.
dont forget when totalling ur weight to divide by 4 as there is 4 springs. if u have adjustable shocks you will also have to divide the total weight depending on what number yout shocks are on.
ie. your car and urself weigh 990kg, divide by 4 because of the 4 springs. this totals 247.5. and with the adjustable shocks set on 28, this will give you a spring rate required to be 8.8392857142857142857. so the springs you want for the front will be approx 8.8kg per mm.
i cant exactly remember how to work out the rear as it has something to do with the pinion angle and tdc of the exhaust cam. maybe someone else can help in this regard.
