Pisser of a story, went down to Round 4 on the weekend at symmons, was hugely good to see but we (Blinky and I) were really disappointed when Fine was forced to drop out because of a rooted diff. So anyway I had a spare T series sitting around at home, so i offered and funnily enough he ended up accepting so yeah...we went and welded my centre and he ended up taking 3rd with my t series hahaha... he is a really good bloke and i was just happy to help out, but its pretty cool how my Diff has been drifted on by Fine!

Ended up getting some pretty cool shit off of his pit crew like some signed dvds and shit but i only really did it to help out.

Also snagged 3/4 of Beau Yates rooted bumper, which He and Leighton signed for me

Might throw up a pic of the bumper later on...its pretty cool

    Great work!
Knowing Leighton, I'm sure he would have been very grateful for what you did.
It is terrific when people from interstate offer such gestures!

And well done on a 3rd place!

Yeah, I donated a T50 when he blew his at the final round at Calder last year. Which he then used to beat me and take first place on the day and for the season. Then broke in the expression session.

I'd exactly the same thing again though.

It's great when you are able to do this, I remember an Autocross day at willowbank where a mates TE55 shat a gearbox after just being rebuilt. Managed to get another mate to rip the gearbox off a motor at home (burpengary) and drive it down to us on his way down. About 15 minutes or so it was in and on the track back doing what it did best
Why hesitate when you can accelerate???
