Who rc drifts here?
I've got a HPI stage d frame.
The drifts rims suck balls. My PVC taped up foams FTW.

i got a tamiya TT-01. put electrical tape on my wheels and slids out pretty good.
Locked diffs?
My old TT-01 was dramatically improved with blu-tac.
A mate and I both use HoBao Hyper 10s. We bought some yokomo drift rubber, tightened the rear ball diff, loosened the front one and drifted. There not the greatest thing ever but it's still fun. At the moment my mate uses an S13 body, and i still use the standard WRX body with a matt black bonnet and heaps of drift damage. I'd like to get a front one way diff to try cos i reckon you could get some good "E-Brake" entries.
6 years ago (gebes its been a while) my 1/8th Picco Integra which they dont make anymore, was great for some sideways drift action at 120 km/h, They have a solid rear diff and 1 way bearings on the font driveshafts. the only problems they had was when it got grippy we would break the titanium driveshafts.
But they were great fun and a good adrenalin rush
Ben.
i've got an old school Kyosho (cant remember the chassis), 11 turn motor, aftermarket suspension and stuff, used to be a racer i think, i dont use a body
Mate has a petrol Kyosho.. i cant remember its chassis either but its got a 2 speed gearbox and stuff and even on standard rubber slicks the thing slides.. another mate just got a TT-01 nismo s15 which is pretty cool
sometimes we just have a muck around slide session in a carpark or whatever but we always break something so we havent done it for a while i need a new rear belt.
i'm using a ta-04R, one way diff up front and locker at the back. and a 13turn emblems motor. using black abs for tyres, great stuff to slide on.
also using a levin coupe shell
smartech gas car.. .15 on it..
locked the diff with bog - no she slides sick..
no i didn't lock my diffs at all. still slided pretty awesome
fully sick tamiya electric 4wd GTR with front shafts removed and rear plastic diff superglue locker. just does donuts thats it, now collects dust........
