    Oh and i forgot..

    Dont expect any goodies to come with the car..

    Wheels, Gauges, porn, and all that jazz, because the wharfies get what ever they can..

    Yeah I'm thinking now that importing is not worth the hassle for a car around this price.

    This was ideally what I was after - a guy in my neighbourhood owns an old beat up one which I see parked on his nature strip all the time. Looks pretty stock, isnt very neat but it goes coz he drives it. I'm thinking of making him an offer on it. Dont know what its got under the hood though?

    most probably a 4ac

    My tip would be to by a ADM one with a ge of some variety already installed. budget anywhere from 5-9 thousand depending on amount of mods you want.

    Having said that, i also agree with one of the other opinions that was raised before, have you considered a ae71 if you are low on money?

    As justin said.. an AE71..

    Still the Sprinter floorpan, and most things are interchangable..
