yea the AE86 is made for the XRT not XRG so it is missing some stuff

you need the lastest test patch for most cars then they'll work better, make a backup if you use tweak or any mod that effects power,wheel size,etc because they dont work with the last test patch

how do you get the engine sound files working.. i have "onevia" (sr20) ae86 and rotary.. where do i put the files and what do i do lol

Put them in LFS/data/engine and press shift+A then click load
