Blacktop vs silver top quads

Can anyone tell me the size of the inlet/butterfly on the silvertop and blacktop quads. I have searched but with no luck. Mine are approx. 48mm so what are mine?

from what I hear silvertop is 42mm and blacks are 45mm or equivolent to. The blacktop ones are more of a love heart/oval shape. Post a pic

Silvertop 42mm, blacktop 45mm.
If you have 48mm then I don't know what they'd be off, but they're not 20v - unless they've been modified somehow though the wall thickness would be extremely thin with that size butterfly.

I just had another look and they measure 47.27 at the opening according to my verniers. But insaying that it looks like it tapers down quite a bit possibly about 4-5mm. So I quess they look like silvertops.

i thought st is 43mm at the butterfly (and 45mm for bt)
