It must of taken a lot of guts to drive a car through groups of people like that I've got a picture of that shell Peugeot hitting a spectator going side ways through the snow.
post it up,
just to show you how things change and some unreal driving by some guy in an evo. watch till the end

oh man those cars so nice great sound also.
who knows how far these cars would of gone if they didnt stop it..
maybe for the worse but u never know could of turned out to be the best thing ever.
that is the best rally i have ever seen! thnx for the post!!
The reason they were called killer bees were because of their sound and the fact that many spectators were hit by the Group B rally cars as they went though their competitive stages.
These are my favorite rally cars of all time, they were the ultimate rally machines that could accelerate form 0 - 100 in 2.8 seconds on gravel road.
The drivers were superhuman for the fact that they needed reflexes 2 - 3 time faster than any other motor-sport driver. I would love to one day own one of these cars (not for street but to be in my garage and for open days on the track), but that probably will be a dream as they are expensive to purchase.... Maybe one day.
Previous cars:
BMW 318i, Mazda MX5, Mazda Familia, Toyota Levin GTV (miss it), AE71, AE92 corolla x 2, Honda Integra Type R DC2 (awesome car),
Mitsubishi Evo 8 MR (Missing it)
Current Car:
2013 Hilux SR5 (turning it into a off-road warrior)
I am looking for a track only car..... Thinking of an AE86 to use.
the dude in the red evo is gigi galli (spelling)
and yea hes fuckin nuts....he literally "backs it in"
nothing like wrc cars now, those group B cars had locked 4wd (like when u engage a hilux to 4wd low) so you had to back em in...
but the cornering speeds now are alot quicker...but those drivers had balls...
i read in a rallying book (ots gotta be true) that the lancia mechanics were pulling fingers out of the air intakes after spectator congested stages in portugal and corsica....the spectators would see how close they could get to the car without actually getting hit....
