P plate restricted vechiles exemption form

I was reading some information relating to the P plate restrictions imposed on P1 and p2 drivers from the 11th

If a p plater had a good reason as to why he/she could drive a prohibited car, they could fill out a form with
the usual Cream on the top for the RTA (your non refundable application lodgment fee)

I was wondering what is justified as a good reason,
me being semi rural and remote,

could i say, fuel economy?,

or could i go as far to say the car was given to me as i was in need of transport to and from work (casual)
and there is no other mode of transport available to me in my current situation?
It would be a hachi i don't think they would believe it was used as a towing vechile..

what are some good Reasons that could be put on such an application
(Im a green plater No prior offenses and not far off 19)

Im trying to look for a way to be able to drive my turboed ke30. Im 22 and im only on my green p's (due to lazyness). From what i have seen, you need to sign a stat dec why you should be exempt.

I really want to drive my car but not to sign a dodgey stat dec.

Turbo's are proven to be when driven right very economical, but nothings really economical about my car no
they wont know that, as for the stat dec its sitting in front of me just need to put a good reason down because they can decline

Are you putting down a legitamate reason? Because if not and they find out your lying, big fines!!

Give me your good reasons and ill use the alternate one

Havn't got a real good reason i think they have heard this one before "its my dads car and sometimes i need to drive it" (it would be in my dads name for insurance bless his soul )

just wondering if any one else has lodged one and what was there reason,
I'm just needing a good one,

its kind of sad they wont let you drive a 1.6 turbo car that produces like say 150kw and your aloud to drive some NA cars that put out 200

being out bush im trying to structure my argument on this fact want truth in there as well.

Ps cuzzo this form can be found online at RTA just run a search Turbo then go into one that stipulates rules and you should find link to stat Dec
