i thought Wata's are one piece rims.
therefore can't be pulled apart and have outers and inners changed to suit what you want.
hi guys i'm looking to buy a set of watanabes RS8 the only problem is the offset. there is a pair which is 15x7 +15offset and a pair which is 16x8 +35offset. i'm pretty sure they'll both fit on the car 16inch being on the rear.
what i have plan is to buy them use them for now and then later on when i have money get them modified to 15x7 +0 offset and the 16inch changed to 15x8 or 9's +0offset because the 16inch rims middle bit is the same as the 15's just the outer rim is larger.
what do you guys think
thanks guys

pretty sure they were 2 or 3 piece rims
this isn't the acutal rim but simular to these[attachment=12942:attachment]
almost the same shit...
but:
cheap
pimp size + offset (15 x 8" neg 4)
availible in a range of finishes....
just a suggestion, however i don't blame you if you really want to go OMG JDM spec.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
my bad i was thinking of the one piece style rims, i always forget about these ones
the two halves are usually factory welded. if they are not, circle track wheels in sydney will roll new halves for about $200 a piece
what would be the ultimate width and offset for the front and rear of a slightly rolled sprinter guard
i dont wanna get these rims modified and later on regret it. rather do it right the first time. any replies appreciated
anything by 7 - 8 has a good offset..
those pics u posted look like Black racing rims.. i believe watas only come in the one style which is a whole entire rim
