all settings stated are cold pressures
when they heat up they normally go up a few psi
wheelfriends.wordpress.com
I've seen tyres rise 10psi after just driving on a hot day around 35 degrees. They rise almost 15psi when doing mad skids as well. Haven't tested that on slicks though. I have a set that are just wanting to be chewed though, haha.
Traction and me, were not meant to be...
another drift day yesterday, kenda komets are now called kenda komet plus (different pattern) and they last even longer than the old ones, so yer massive win! i run 40ish psi in them too
^ I gotta get me a pair of Kenda Komets and try them out. How much do you pay for them Robo? You run 185/60 hey?
yea man 185/60, i get them like cost price through a mate for like 135/140 a pair new, they are a bit more in shops though
Thats a 17" tyre compaired to a 15" tyre Simon. You should know its like compairing shit and bricks. Same tyre design/make/rubber/watever else yes, difference principles.

have used kuhmo ecsta spt on the back for drifting.. they dont have a whole lot of grip altho they feel grippy on my n/a 4age road car.. run them backwards for lots of smoke and lots of tread wear.. normal rotation for long life and slightly less straight line grip..
have recently used 205/50 adrenalin re001 they are really good 32 psi cold.. lots of grip, smoke, and last ok,
i now have a pair of r1r's to use in the same size to see how they go
Alright been round my local tyre shops and got prices on the cheapest shittest 14s, would like some feedback from people that have used these tyres
Goodride
Mayrun
Westlake
and also firestone wide oval as a steer tyre?
