I can reccomend Bridgestone potenzas adrenalin, Toyo R1R and Toyo T1R as steer tyres used all three on my laurel. Also used Nankang NSII's, they where farking shit house, ran em for half a prac day on the front, then put em on the rear and delaminated in 2 laps.. bad understeer as well.
I have been running Traxxions on the front and rear of my S14 lately, I really cannot fault them for a $60 tyre (235/45/R17) apart from the fact when they are pretty fresh the get a fair bit of tread squirm, but once they wear a bit they are pretty impressive as a grip tyre and as a rear.

My friend runs 9" on his S13 too. You don't need 235 on the front.

His car is so easy to drift.

i run 9's with 215/45 all round on my s13. goodyear revspec on the front and achilles on the back, front has a little more grip but is still well balanced.

Picked up a pair of 185/55R14 N2000's which are now branded as a Roadstone.

Will be trying these out on the rear shortly. Ideally I probably want something cheaper though
