I have Falkens up front now and anything half bald for the rear, getting 185/60 RE001s for front runners after next dwipt prac
also i need to start running some new low grip rears, as changing tyres half way through the prac to a different brand / level tyre sucks n i have trouble getting used to it for a few runs.

delamination is an interesting concept, it has ties to how the tyre is made, if the tread over laps, it makes a high spot on the tyre, which most cheaper tyres do, if you driver against the flap, when you wheel spin it will just tear it off, but if you drive so it following the overlap, then it will take longer to delam, the better the tyre normally, the less overlap.

A friend of mine (used to be marke70 on old forums) uses them on his ae71. He reckons they are by far the best tyre he's ever used. A new pair lasted 3 archerfield days and 1 at QR and were grippy 'till the end.
On another note, I used toyo T1R's last friday night and was extremely disappointed. They were great for the first 1 - 2 laps but after that became very skaty on the rear due to heat (they were crazy hot after 3 laps). The fronts got very slippery and made my car a pig to drive as well.
I have a friend who can get a me a good price on kumho tyres. I'm going to give them a shot, if they are crap, i'm going back to 595's. They are the best I've used so far.
How hard is it to swap tires with levers etc?
On a 14 it's not that hard if you know what your doing, but you will need to have a manual bead breaker. A mate can do it in about 10 minutes (a pair). Most people will find it hard pumping them up though if they are stretching tyres unless they have a bead blaster.
