I used to ride BMX until i got my licence, nothing special just local skate parks... used to want to get into downhill but never did...
I use to race bmx all over adeliade. Nothing special but i had a redline xlr8 (think thats how it was spelt) at that time the were only 3 of them in australia and 50 in the world.
Then i got a full time job and a licence. Thinking about getting a bike again for some more dirt/street riding now i dont have a licence

When / if i lose my licence i want to get a nice mountain bike for some downhill stuff and genral riding... how much would an average one be worth? my cousin does it and his bikes over a grand but i dont wanna spend more than 500 lol...? how much is your bike owrth floody? hard tail mountain bikes look tuff
meh I used to ride BMX but hardly anymore its fun to ride but there are too many fuck wits in the culture these days and scene junkies (" wow I just go the new Titanium spindle Im cool" or coz you cant tailwhip your not cool ) I kinda miss how it used to me back in like 5 years ago~~~
But i ALSO used to mountain Bike but that got too expensive and the price for a good down hill bike you can buy a car lol

I used to dabble in MTBing, just trail and stuff, with a few mates in the pre-license days when there was seldom anything better to do.
Orange? Morewood? Cannondale? These days if its not a VPP bike its a single pivot. The new model MRP's are trick with the carbon fibre bashies too.

$1990 retail, I paid $1690 cash. Bars, stem, seat and post are another ~$300ish, and the pedals I've got coming are another $210. Fark, begins to add up quick.
Its cost more than my 4AGE AE71 so far, lol. But not much in mtb terms.
