might get flamed for this but i drink budwisers & carlton druaght goes down alright . but get heap bloated the next day,.

coronas and pure blonde are meh .. . some of the jap beer i've had at sushi /jap joints are average.

Im on the budweisers tonight myself, nice clean crisp taste,,, working on the car tomorrow. $ for $ there is no beating the amsterdam 500ml cans, havent had em for a while, they take a bit of getting used to as they have a very german taste to them, ive posted some of my finest posts after many of those babies.

For me bud's are okay but I find I can taste the rice in them way too easily/strongly. Don't know if it's a bad thing or not I just notice it alot.

I fucking love beer.
I'll drink XXXX, XXXX Gold, Tooheys New, Hahn Super Dry, Pure Blonde.... etc etc.
I'll drink warm british ales, I'll drink thick rich Belgian beers.....
So long as it doesn't come in a clear or green bottle.
With the exception of Gosser, my fave beer on tap that I had in Mittersill, Austria after walking 15k's down the Autobarn (it has no foot paths, very interesting situation to be in) from catching rainbow trout all the day before.....
In Antwerp I had many great beers. Juliper, etc etc.
German beers, I can't remember the name of, Brau-Rup corn beer in Mittersil, the beer from Hofbrauhaus in Munich.........

I could go a beer right now, after all this talk.

But basically Corona, TEDS are the two beers I won't buy... but I'll drink 'em if they're free. Oh an VB... but then again if it's free.....

I went over to the Feral Brewery in the Swan Valley (WA)

They have one called "Hop Hog" it was fair decent.

If I can't get a Corona, i'll settle for a Budweiser

BUT, the Yank Budweiser (off the tap) is tonnes better and I quite like it. I drank 3 litres in a sitting in April '09 at Medieval Times (Los Angeles). 2 x 1.5L glasses. Pic for proof attached. The cup next to it was a pintglass for scale !. Boss was paying, said he wanted to see me kill 3 litres in a sitting. Done ! I was pissed as a newt for the next 2 hours though.



But to answer the OP - OZ Beer is Piss... Especially VB. God I hate that shit. Still yet to see anything decent ever come out of victoria.
