sweet ride, sideways to go :2thumbs:
cheers for the comments will hopefully have it on track soonish.
looks good bro, how does the blacktop go?? i have silvertop
the blacktop 20 valve goes rather well,, i cant compare it to a silvertop having never been in or driven one but mine goes pretty good at last tune it pulled about 160hp at the wheels i think. its got enough power for me to pull away from or catch upto people quick enough and sliding is fun n i dont need to clutch it or handbrake at all. so yeah all in all its a good little package while still being good on the pocket.
my plan is to turbo it in the next 12 months so that should be interesting.
forged rods are your friend, dont turbo stock b/t bottom end, they have lightened rods which are weaker, use silvertop rods
hopefully when the time comes for a turbo i will be pulling her off the road and doing a complete engine rebuild so i wont have to worry too much about breaking shit in there.
as it is im unsure how my diff will like the extra power.
the diff will not like the extra power, and 160Hp atw that doesn't sound right???? i have read they have 170 HP at motor stock. silver top 165 and GZE woot woot! 165, i read that on a forum somewhere?
Car is lookin good man, dont take credit for someone elses build though, but the changes you have made and are going to make are great!!! dang that radiator makes me horny!!!
what a bummer the rain stopped aye lol
those are the figures toyota claimed the engines to make, in fact they are a bit less
