<div align="center">Brethren of the 86DC who are struggling to figure the ways of uploading photos, this is for you. I hope it proves helpful.</div>

With image uploads temporarily disabled on the forum, people have been posing the same question "How do I upload pics and put it on the site?" This is in answer to that question.

    Step 1: Signing Up
Chose yourself a server which enables you to upload images. I'm going to use (Click on the link!!) as I find it to be reliable!. Unfortunately this site forces you to sign up before allowing the uploading to occur, but it is FREE and it only takes a good 2 minutes. Follow the appropriate steps to gaining an account, and SIGN IN!

    Step 2: Uploading
Clicking on "Browse" obviously allows you to search your computer for the desired image you wish to upload. Another nifty option with this site is being able to upload 3 images at a time! SO, Click on browse, search for the image, and click OPEN. Then Click "Upload"

    Step 3: Copying URL
Once the image has uploaded scroll down untill you find your picture. Underneath the picture will be 4 tags. We want the LAST tag, titled "IMG Code". Highlight the entire Tag, left click "copy".

Step 4: Pasting Tag Into Thread
With the tag copied, it as simple as pasting it into your "Fast Reply" Box. Once Copied Press "Add Reply".

    Step 5: Done
    Your Done Yipee!

I Hope this solved any issues previously encountered. And should serve as a reference to anyone having trouble. Cheers Peter.
If you can't be bothered signing up, there are a couple of links below which allow you to upload following the same basic steps as posted above.

Wish this forum had more members like you Peter.

Truth is, AE86DC will be changing webhosts again. So by all means, use the process above...

But image uploads are coming back.

Should this topic get pinned/stickied until the hosts for Ae86dc change again?

every one should use photo bucket anyway rather than uploading to this web site and other, it's very easy to use!

and even better use a program called FLOCK! it's a mozilla firefox based, you can brows the net etc... with the added bonus of having all your pics at your finger tips when you use the program.

flock keeps you loged into your photobucket at all times (even when the computer is off etc...) you click the picture icon and it shows you the last 30 odd pics youve up loaded. and best of all it has an up loder program where you just drag the pics from your files accross to the flock up loader. then chose your album you want the pics in and up load it.

so much easyer than up loading 20 at a time having to pick each one.

thats my 5c... but it's the best program anyway, love it!!!
