24valve? what extra exhaust valves? no need.

i personally think they should modify the 2zzge by making it a 20v, adding individual throttle bodies, lenghtening the LIFT zone by making it kick in at 4000-5000rpm, stop internals from breaking so easily and lowering the displacement to 1.6L.

thatll be a next-gen 4age that can be produced with todays engine technology.

as for a 2-way theres no real need for that. a standard LSD would be good enough. TRD will bring out an aftermarket 2-way anyway for highly modified cars.

Hey why not bring back the original sprinter with its original engine and 20 year old technology and styling so that all the current sprinter owners are happy? That should sell like 1000 or so cars all up yeah?
I'm sure glad some of you guys aren't running toyota.

The IS200/Altezza was marketed as the new 86 when it was released here in Japan and it turned out to be an unfun expensive box. I wouldn't expect too much from this incarnation either.

I thought the Altezza wasn't a bad car (not that I really know anything about it). And I agree that for $15000 we cant expect too much, but even a RWD Yaris would be pretty cool. If it does well it could make other car companies think about putting something cheap & rwd into the market.
At the moment the bottom of the rwd market would be stuff like BMW 1 series, RX8, MX5 and 350Z yeah? A cheap new rwd could take over from the lancer and Hyundais as the No.1 ricer car, especially if theres a performance version available from the factory...
