Ive already got an aftermarket ecu.
what state are you in? where do you want your power range? how bad a idle and low down power can you handle?

Always been very helpful with my engines.
there are toda items available, which i am fairly sure i will be using in my 20v head.
Yeah i know TODA's are available, still waiting on a price from them. Dont really mind how it idles (lumpier the better ) and dont really mind if the power band is higher too (just gonna have to keep the rev's up...)
Any one on here actually got any in their cars? What size duration and lift?
cheers
Forgot to add im in adelaide..
Just so you know, if you decide to get wild cams, you'll have to say goodbye to VVTi and you'll definately need aftermarket computer for the set up to work well. And a lot of time to set up the fuel and ignition curves (I see you run Microtec). Unless you are also going to ditch the EFI too and go Old-School carbs like Weber, Mikuni or FCR which will also take some fiddling to work well (Std cam in 20V is 250 so why spend over a grand on cams that are only 256?). From tests I've seen there isn't much that can be gained from cams in 20V with 264 - 272 or unless you go for greater duration and 9mm lift (also add new valves, springs, buckets, shims etc) and then you lose most of your mid range torque and power for only marginal gains in top end. Also you would have to extensively port the head and increase compression to about 11:1. Having said that 306 degree cams in built Group A spec motor push out over 200hp!
wade cams as clemo said, a fraction of the price of toda for the same sort of thing. I think they sell a 9.5mm lift with a 280 degree duration
