Most door lock have a 'u' shaped circlip holding them in place.
Take off the inside door trim, the clip may be at the bottom of the door with the lock.
my lock on the drivers side door of my ra65 celica has fallen inside the door,
i can kinda get at it with a screwdriver, but bfor i take the door apart to get at it, what would be the best method of holding it in place wher its meant to be?
superglue around the edge?
also do the handle things on Ra's just pull out and clip back in or if i pull it is it gunna break sumthing?
cheers to ne1 that can shed some light lol

i see, thx for reply, ill do it eventually, cbf right now, gota apply for tafe, but the damn tafe site is being a bitch!
65's have an internal lock inside the handle, so i'm not sure if they have the usual clip, such as the ke's and sprinters.
dearmang ask ben about it, i think he had this problem at some point. just take the handle out and have a look at it, should be fairly obvious where it's broken
so can i sorta just level the handle out? is it just a clip thing or is it glued?

It's nothing really like a sprinter lock. there isn't anything holding it from the outside, it sits in behind a hole in the door handle.
