that's really good and a clever technique, love your work, keep it up
woh todd that's pretty cool! It looks like an actual canvas painting.
ATESIX, I used a small LED torch with different coloured celephane wrapped around the front, then the rest was pretty much just waving it around to "colour" in the subject. The white streaks are from the LED torch facing directly at the camera when it was moving.

may i ask what your studying at uni hao? design/marketing possibly?
yes! post up your other ones if you can find them
I'd doing a bachelors degree in visual communication design and I'm taking photography as an elective. I'm also doing marketing as well for this course but it's a core subject. How about you?
well that explains it. sounds like an interesting course.
im studying fine arts/visual arts into my 3rd year blurgh.
edit: majoring in photography too
So far i can only see the last one of your pics hao, but damn it looks awesome. Might have looked cooler with a red-ish or something i reckon though. Definately a really creative effect though.
I'm still trying to work out what your photo is todd haha. And how you made it look like that. Awesome shot none the less, will probably have a better effect if i don't know what it is, leaves it all up to the imagination....
Hahahahaha enough of this artistic talk :| Will have a few more pics from last night to throw up, experimented with bouncing + snout sort of thing.
haha, first person to figure out how i took it, gets a candy.
ill give u a hint, there are only two people and a faux tiger skin in the image.
goodluck
does it involve slow shutter speed, multiple flash firing? Thats the only way i can work it out.

My sister in-law got me a ticket to a workshop run by the National geographic
with photographer Jason Edwards his work can be seen here..
He was so approachable, after a little talk he did,
we had a coffee and I showed him a little book I have of my cakes and photography,
he liked my shots epically the rock with moving water around it.
We then went around the Australian museum taking pics and him giving feed back on them,
then we sat down for about 2hrs and Jason told all story's about some of his shots and his life.
It was awesome
heres some from that day..
