T18 doesnt bolt in. Quote me on it

Worked 5k + forced idnuction, might as well buy a 4age. Stock power is ALWAYS better than "worked" motors. Hit the key and drive = )

So much of it all comes down to what you want (performance), and what you have (money)

i havnt yet seen mention of the old 7Kc 1.8ltr motor, if you could pick one of them up (a bit rare tho) and conbine them with some cheep twin carbies you would have a bit more power for a lot less then some of the other options... if you had an ae71 4age would be the go for sure but ke70 you will have all thoes extra parts to convert as well.

It's OK if you're on a budget, but it would be easier for the guys here to help you out, if you could tell them what the budget is.

im thinking out side the square here but ,
why not a Sigma Engine ,
Cheap , easy to find ,

If you really wanted injection just put on the Magna EFI Gear(with modification to fit.

Sigma engines are very heavy and they would be a massive hassle to get into a KE70. You would almost have to consider cutting into the firewall so it doesnt throw off the balance of the car to much.

Unless your going to stay with a K series motor dont try a conversion with a budget of $1000 you will just end up cutting corners and have a shitbox or running out of money. If I was you I would go 4age either worked N/A or forced induction can give good power and still be reliable.

I agree with Bustin better off spending money on a powerful motor then trying to work a crap engine.
