its common for people to get under driven alloy pulleys.

if you want that whine bolt on a sc12/14 lol

well it saps a bit of power, prob not huge. certainly not a upgrade performance wise.

the practical application of them is to prevent slippage of the belt but totally unnecessary lol.

alloy under drive pulleys decrease spinning mass (greater responce) and under driving means that it reduces the hp lost by driving the water pump/alternator. also it increases cooling efficient with the water pump running slower and with high revs it wont wear the alternator as fast i guess.

the only thing you'd really require gilmer belt for is a dry-sump setup.
