Finger lickin good.
so finally an update:
im just going to throw up a bunch of pics.
what im doing right now:
brake conversion - R32 gtst front and rears. 280 x 29 mm rotors up front and 296 x 18mm rotors up the rear with 2 x R32 calipers / side - struts need some mods and ive finally found the perfect set of rotors to use that no one person has used before!! not loosing much needed wheel offsets!!! rotor mounted in stock position.
and also purchased a HSD sleeve kit, 8kg springs and helper etc.
pics: enjoy
Struts pulled appart
Calipers - brackets not modded yet (just 1st fitment pics)
Sleeve kit : 200mm free height + helpers

How much was the kit?
What biggo said. $299 from otomoto
Thanks man and other guys who posted, yeah big plans i guess, instead of focusing on how the car actually looks.. paint body work etc, im focusing on suspension/brakes etc.
ive had the 32 brakes around for years and not many guys have done the conversion out here, i dont know of anyone who will have dont it this way yet..
next thing is to mod the caliper bracket, so its time to set the struts up on the mill...
so while im still waiting for suspension parts, ive decided to keep going at this brake conversion.
i had the ultimate setup all planed, with a few days of searching the DBA cataloge over and over, and countless times of measuring and re measuring, wanting to mount the rotor in the stock inboard position, i came across the perfect rotor! was from a lotus elise S1 with dimentions of 280 x 29 x 29 pretty much no hat at all.. only listed in 5000 series i called up and got quoted $450/ roter!! it would still work and ive got it all drawn up but it majorly blows the budget!
anyway the cressida boys use R33 calipers with BA falcon rotors, but i had R32 calipers that take a 280mm rotor, so more searching and BINGO!! found a 287mm rotor 28 thick and 65mm height.
scored these from RDA for $180 the pair and their slotted aswell!!
brought em home double checked some things and then took them to re drill the PCD, $50 for the pair! much bettter then the $70/rotor prices i was getting earlier in the day..
and here is pics so far.
Also painted up my exhausts system
as you can see below the 287mm rotor is just a bit tall for the R32 caliper
(factory 280mm) so ill need to mill it down about 2 mm
Rotor needs to be aligned, i need to mill 2mm off the mounting bracket. the 141 has a meaty brackets measuring in at just uner 12mm
The hub on the ST141 strut fits perfectly over the rotor! about 1mm in it
and exhaust

you talking about your one's cal? cant u get the big lock nut off ? i had to put the strut in a vice then i have the biggest shifter u have ever seen, its about 800mm long, i found if i tightened it first then tried to undo it, it worked, u need some big force to get them off.
try getting some heat into it aswell, it will cause the strut tube to expand a little and help it release from the nut.
as for cutting and shutting etc, yeah im doing it to mine, im getting an alignment sleeve made up so it can be all welded back together properly
