    Fluids and plugs changed. All good only to find my turbo is stuffed. I bought the motor and was told everything was good. :angry2: so not happy.

    How did u go with the shifter location?

    We're putting an Sr with the standard gearbox into a Ke70 and it looks like the shifter will come through right where the cross member is (the one that runs under the front seats)...

    We can't move the engine forwards as the end of the sump will hit the steering rack


    Just wondering how other people got around this problem?

    Cut a hole big enough OR get a RB20 gearbox mated to the SR20 engine, I've rear that this makes it sit almost in the stock position.

    will the rb20 box bolt up goody? more importantly do you know if it will bolt up to a ca? thanks

    (thought i'd post here instead of pm as others will want to know aswell

    need CA or SR bellhousing depending on ur engine obviously

    Yeh mate but like R11CHY said you will need it modified to fit a CA or SR bellhousing, I'm using a SR20 box and I have no problems where the shifter is after reversing it
