got a new mandrell benders a couple weeks ago and its sweet as, here's a cage i did this week.
Full custom mandrel bent cage. 1 7/8 tube
very tight to the frame and pillars, barely even visible
as you look in the door,
maximum visibility for the driver, cage tight against the roof
and pillars.
large floor plates welded to three different planes
to spread the load for maximum strength.
large front floor plates and some weld shots.

I would be interested in a picture of your bending machine, and the mandrel dies etc. Do you just have the mandrels for roll cage tube or a whole range of sizes? These machines can cost heaps.
What car is that in?

thanks guys, im based in ireland so i doubt id be any good to you guys, just thaught youd like to see as i see people asking for cage pics and info.
its a jd2 manual benders, i only have two dies at the moment, 1 1/2 and 1 7/8. main sizes in tube for cages. you can get all size dies, dies for square too. but at 350-450 us dollars each itll be a while till i can get a few more.

quite simmilar in design to the cage we made, we use a manual mandril aimed to get it close as possible, simmilar floor plate designs too.
also to stop the pittin in the welds i noticed, we get a spare tank of gas, and run a line to the inside of the tube, works especially well with stainless.
