hi all i have an E51 gearbox from a levin ae92 lying around in my garage i am currently using a c52 with my 4agze which is making 150hp atw's the c52box is starting to not handle the power, so i am looking at instaling the E51.
i would like to know if this could easly be done i have a clutch, flywheel pretty much everything is there to bolt up to the motor.
but have herd things such as the selctor shafts are placed backwards, and that you need s/c transaxles.

    has anyone done this?
or no anything about the swap all info is muchly appreciated

The E50 series gearbox uses bigger axles, so you will need them also.

selector shaft is on the wrong side from memory, but it can be swapped.

i remember seeing something about it on twincam.org, if that helps.
