?
These aren't my exact rims, but these are exactly the same except with gold centres as opposed to mine having silver centres.
They are a Japanese made rim, as made obvious by the JIL stamp and the "Made in Japan" on the back.
And in case you're wondering if the original place I found those images has any leads, it was from a for sale ad in the US. And their description was: JDM DEEP DISH MESH, USED WHEELS FROM THE 80s.( SSR VOLK RIKEN ENKEI BBS ).... Very helpful.
I'm planning on selling my set, so I thought it would help a prospective buyer to maybe know what exactly they are.
And leads would be great, thanks :2thumbs:
Potenza :geek:
haha they say on the centre caps! gosh! nice rims thou, i need some more pimp wheels, anyone got 15x9s?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (741 @ Sep 15 2008, 11:09 PM) </div> Well I guess that would have been the obviously conclusion from the centre caps, I didn't think that Potenza had anything to do with making rims but apparently not so. I just figured that they were after market caps.
Looks like I searched in the wrong forum though, oh and they are the same color as the ones on that other thread.
Thanks for the help (y)
I have also seen "Potenza" shocks for AE86 - guessing these were made for Bridgestone by a wheel company and branded as Potenza (similar to Advan/AVS wheels by Yokohama)
