lol various lengths and stiffness can be colour coded to make it easier to tell apart if changing trackside or to match your socks with mood.

That makes sense, however i liked them better when i thought they were lightsabers

    ZZZZIIMMMMMZUUUUUMMMMM *imitates lightsaber noise*

To be honest, its seems far too much work for only a minor gain. I think it was Sam Q who made a funky do hickey of a rear sway bar that had a slider on it to adjust the leght of the blade.

haha yeah it's not too difficult to make these type in car adjustable with a lever mechanism. ARB's are the only thing left original on here, so it's just icing on the cake customization.

Have you found a decent source for the blades? I havnt found many decent suppliers over the years.

My mate's family runs Formula Ford and they run a single blade setup in the front. I'll find out where they sourced it from. Knowing them though they probably fabricated it in house.

Spring steel is notoriously hard to fabricate, so most people buy the blades and then fab the rest.

The ones I posted page over were from a Swedish supplier, also found some in UK & US.
But in Australia maybe or in SA in Cavan can supply off the shelf.
I recall seeing GT40 rep that in Sydney prepared, had similar ARB's which were fabbed in house.

(Have some more detailed photos somewhere...) It's all tube & rod construction, supported by bearings in mounts.
Not adjustable as the blade type, but they had a few diameter versions that were interchangable (soft-med-hard).

Yeah, the rods tend to be made in house, but the blades, which really are the important bit, tend to be sourced from strange places. Last time i checked Harrop had about a 400% markup on the ones i used to get in the UK.

Yeah I saw their Commodore and Future tourer bar prices eeep! These are some I found a while ago on Group A AE86. Lost the link

    Front:

    Rear:

Looks solid, fixed rate. Something x between these and Corse above would be ideal if the blade type work out too $ive.
