you can get 175/50R13 from a tyre dealer that sells sime tyres otherwise you can buy yokohama street legal semi slicks in that size as well. Otherwise this website sells 195/45R13 tyres, the mini guys know where to get good tyres.

175/50 is too small for a Corolla. 195/45 is too small for a Corolla.
I used to run 175/60 Trampio's and N2000's and they looked small at my height. I doubt yours will be that low to pull it off.
185/60 is fine and the only real choice. If you want stretch you need wider than 7J.
Note that I've done the 13-inch thing with gooood Japanese Trampio tyres and it just wasn't worth it.
It'd need to be scappin' low to pull it off.
Dude on the first page is running 13x7 - 30 165/55R13 on his Corolla and I reckon it looks damn sweet.
Very good points, 13's really are a handling compromise.
