there are timed practice laps through timeattack on the 9th also
but the 8th is the last of the street sprint sesies for the year. A mate with his 20v Yaris IPRA car will be there on the 8th with me. The will be a battle will be on, there was only .09sec between us at Noosa hill.
GoPro, I have a hero and a hero2. same quality, the 2 is a littl more user friendly.
That time attack list has some old times on it. My R33 is up there fro years back, before it was re-surfaced.
Dave, If you come visit on the Sat, Stop n say G'Day. Unfortunately I have to work that Sunday.

Ah yes that it is, so you guys enter in the trackattack series? awesome stuff!
Ohhh, so this would be you then? Awesome, my mate and i loved it!
Thanks for the info on cameras, am looking at getting something myself, though i expect i will be doing 1.30s not 1.01s hahaha.
If i'm free on the saturday i'll come up for a look Oh and i assume the wrx you were talking about last year is Nev in the blue/aqua scorpion wrx? I'm primarily a subaru kid but have recently picked up a ke70 to get into track work
And a video that i got of the Yaris
Well done Noddy!
I hit lakeside on Monday for the first time. It's a pretty fast track! The best I managed was a 67.99. On the last run i was averaging 68's. It's slow, but I am pretty happy with the result and really looking forward to heading out there again - especially with some new tyres.
Set up:

1.8L engine ~ 130rwhp
cams
haltech e6x
ohlins dfv coilovers, set 12 from soft front and rear

stock rear swaybar
torsen diff with 4.3
15*8 6ul rims with old, hard Advan ao48's
Cheers, plohl
Went out to Lakeside today for the first time. Need brakes, standard JDM are useless after 2 laps. Also good tyres on the rears.

That sure looks sketchy in the rear in places.
What tyres are you thinking of getting?
Do you need to use them for on the street?
Im looking at selling off some of my older (4-8 months old depending on the set) Kumho V70A semi slicks in a medium compound. 225/45/15, 20%-30% worn, 4 of at $150 each and 2 50% worn at $100ea. There is a pair of 215/50/15 as well, 1 has been worked pretty hard, 10% left and the other is still about 40% $100 for the pair. These are all normaly around the $200 -$250 mark for each new.
Hey Noddy,
Definitely looking at getting some 225/50 semi in the future. I've been looking at R888's which seem pretty cheap, have you used those? Anyway before tyres I'm going to be upgrading the front brakes.
